The Organizing Committee of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of National Day has issued Official Letter No. 4346/BVHTTDL-BTC regarding the change of venue for the Opening Ceremony of the National Achievements Exhibition celebrating the 80th Anniversary of National Day.
Accordingly, on August 21, 2025, the Organizing Committee of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025) had issued Official Letter No. 4294/BVHTTDL-BTC inviting participants to attend the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Exhibition. However, due to the impact of Typhoon No. 5 (Kajiki), in order to ensure security and safety for delegates attending the Celebration, the Organizing Committee has decided to change the venue of the Opening Ceremony of the Exhibition to the Grand Ballroom, Vin Palace Convention Center, located within the National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi City.

The National Achievements Exhibition celebrating the 80th Anniversary of National Day carries the theme “80 Years of the Journey of Independence – Freedom – Happiness.” The event aims to honor and present the nation’s outstanding achievements over 80 years of defense, construction, and development under the leadership of the Party and the State.
It pays tribute to the accomplishments, contributions, and sacrifices of generations of Vietnamese people who have constantly strived for the enduring development of the nation and the happiness of its people. The exhibition seeks to evoke national pride in the glorious historical traditions of the past 80 years, creating motivation and inspiration for the Vietnamese people to enter a new era — one of prosperity, civilization, and sustainable growth. At the same time, the event introduces to international friends the achievements of Vietnam over the past 80 years, contributing to promoting the image of a renewed, dynamic, and deeply integrated Vietnam.
The exhibition showcases and displays the nation’s outstanding achievements over 80 years of construction and development across various fields, particularly in key sectors such as industry – technology; investment – trade; agriculture – rural development; national defense – security; foreign affairs; health; education; culture, sports and tourism.
The exhibition area consists of: The General Display Zone (Kim Quy Exhibition Hall); The Outdoor Exhibition Zone (East, West, South, and North courtyards); The International Exhibition Zone and the 12 Cultural and Creative Industries (Block A Exhibition Hall).
The exhibition will take place from August 28 to September 5, 2025, at the National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh, Hanoi. The Opening Ceremony will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2025.
