The launching ceremony of the “Bright – Green – Clean – Beautiful” contest aims to raise awareness and responsibility among officials, civil servants, public employees, workers, and residents in environmental protection, fostering habits and behaviors that are environmentally friendly, gradually building a clean, safe, and livable environment for the community.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duc Vuong – Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ung Hoa Commune emphasized: “The ‘Bright – Green – Clean – Beautiful’ emulation movement is not only an immediate task to improve rural landscape and environment, but also a meaningful activity reflecting the responsibility of the entire political system and the people in sustainably developing a civilized Ung Hoa Commune.”

The leaders of Ung Hoa Commune called on all departments, agencies, mass organizations, villages, hamlets, schools, and the entire population to actively participate in the contest through concrete actions such as planting trees, cleaning the environment, arranging village lanes and alleys, and promoting community roles in protecting the living environment. The movement encourages regular sanitation practices including sweeping, waste collection, clearing weeds, and unclogging drains; maintaining cleanliness in the premises of offices, village cultural houses, pagodas, and cemeteries. It requires 100% of villages, agencies, and schools to participate in general cleaning on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings. All streets, alleys, and public areas are to be kept clean, with greenery planted, lighting appropriately decorated, and littering and unauthorized advertising minimized – collectively contributing to a “Brighter, Greener, Cleaner, and More Beautiful” Ung Hoa”.

Many streets in Ung Hoa Commune have become green, clean, and beautiful thanks to the joint efforts of local residents.
