Implementing Project No. 01/DA-UBND of the Ung Hoa District People’s Committee on “Building models for organization and self-managed cultural, arts, and sports activities at village and street Cultural Houses in the district,” Thai Hoa Commune has recently deployed multiple contents of the two projects in a synchronized and effective manner. As of now, all 9 villages in the commune have Cultural Houses and have established and maintained active arts clubs, sports clubs, and community bookcases. The self-managed Cultural House models established in villages such as Nhan Hoa, Thai Binh, Du Xa, Dinh Xuyen, An Hoa, and Noi Xa have truly become vibrant activity hubs, strengthening community cohesion and promoting residents’ self-management role.

Implementing Project No. 02 of Ung Hoa District on building exemplary civilized cultural villages, Thai Hoa Commune has achieved many positive results: there are no longer any poor households, the rate of near-poor households is only 1.19%, and the estimated per capita income in 2025 is 79 million VND/person/year. 94.8% of households have been recognized as cultural families. In 2024, two villages, Thai Binh and Nam Duong, were recognized as “Exemplary Civilized Cultural Villages.” Alongside economic development, the spiritual life and environmental landscape of the villages in the commune have increasingly improved: 100% of villages have covered drainage systems, regular environmental sanitation is organized, flower roads are maintained, and waste is sorted at the source. The cremation rate has reached 84.7%, while security, order, and social welfare are ensured.

The addition of self-managed Cultural House models and exemplary civilized cultural villages is not only the result of the solidarity and efforts of the entire political system and residents of Thai Hoa Commune but also demonstrates the effectiveness of the district’s project implementation, contributing to the construction of advanced, exemplary new rural areas in the locality.
