On September 28, 2021, the People’s Committee of Ung Hoa District issued Project No. 02/DA-UBND on the establishment of a “Model Civilized Cultural Village.” Actively implementing the project, the officials and residents of Lien Bat Commune have achieved encouraging results. Following Bat Chua Hamlet, recently, Lien Bat Commune organized the inauguration ceremony of Luong Xa Hamlet as a Model Civilized Cultural Village, bringing joy and excitement to all local residents.

Luong Xa Hamlet has 7 family lineages with over 350 households. The hamlet has 1 Party branch and 5 political-social organizations, 1 Study Promotion Association, and 3 clubs established under Project No. 01 of the District People’s Committee. Building on its hometown traditions, over the past years, the officials and residents of Luong Xa Hamlet have actively promoted the movements “All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban life” and “All people unite to build cultural life”. The political situation in the hamlet remains stable, and socio-economic and cultural development has been steadily advancing. Village regulations and customary rules have been revised and supplemented to comply with legal provisions, the Public Conduct Code of Hanoi City, and the standards for establishing a Model Cultural Village. After approval, 100% of households have access to and properly implement these regulations and rules.

The average per capita income in Luong Xa has reached over 76 million VND per person per year. Officials and residents actively contribute to various funds and humanitarian and charitable activities. Among these, funds such as “Day for the Poor,” “Gratitude Fund,” “For Vietnam’s seas and islands,” and storm and flood relief receive strong support from the community, totaling over 20 million VND per year. A notable highlight in Luong Xa’s landscape is the social mobilization of over 600 million VND to renovate the village pond, transforming it into a bright, green, clean, and beautiful community space that meets the essential needs of local residents. This initiative also helps improve the rural landscape, fosters community cohesion, and contributes to promoting the movement “All people unite to build cultural life”, creating a green, clean, and beautiful living environment in the homeland of Ung Hoa.
In 2024, the Party Branch of Luong Xa Hamlet was awarded a certificate of merit by the Hanoi City Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Department and the Ung Hoa District Party Committee for its exemplary mass mobilization model, “Village ponds: bright, green, clean, and beautiful”. The branch also excelled in completing its tasks for 2024. In the same year, the hamlet was selected by the commune to participate in the district-level contest for safe, bright, green, civilized, and modern roads, achieving a City-level Encouragement Prize. Additionally, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports awarded the hamlet a certificate for being a Model Cultural Hamlet in the movement for building new rural areas in 2024.
The inauguration of Luong Xa as a Model Civilized Cultural Village is a great joy and serves as a source of motivation for the officials and residents to continue their efforts, ensuring that this title shines and contributes to making Lien Bat Commune increasingly prosperous and civilized.
