The Muong Ethnic Cultural Festival is a significant event that honors, preserves, and promotes the traditional cultural values of Muong communities within the unified yet diverse cultural landscape of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups. It reflects the deep attention of the Party and the State to ethnic communities, while fostering solidarity and the sustainable development of the nation’s rich cultural diversity.
The festival also provides an opportunity for localities to exchange experiences and learn from one another, contributing to greater awareness and responsibility in preserving ethnic cultural identity and in the shared effort of national development and defense. In addition, it serves as a platform to promote to businesses and domestic and international partners the cultural, sports, tourism, and heritage development potential of the Muong people in the context of renewal, integration, and growth.
