The “Weekend Music” project, organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, will take place every Sunday afternoon at the Bat Giac Pavilion – Ly Thai To Flower Garden (Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi). The inaugural program will be held on the afternoon of November 30, when the Binh Minh Jazz Club brings an improvised and vibrant jazz music space to the public.
In Hanoi’s cultural life, music has always played an essential role, as a spiritual rhythm and a bridge connecting the community. Organizing artistic programs in public spaces is seen as a practical approach that enables residents and visitors to easily access, enjoy, and share the cultural values of the Capital.

The “Weekend Music” project at the Bat Giac Pavilion is being implemented by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports with the expectation of turning the venue into a familiar cultural meeting point, where music resonates amid the historic setting of Hoan Kiem Lake, creating intimate and engaging artistic experiences. The project also aims to bring high-quality art forms closer to the Capital’s public.
The opening program, scheduled for the afternoon of November 30, will feature Meritorious Artist Quyen Van Minh and the Binh Minh Jazz Club, along with singers, lecturers, and students from professional art training institutions. The combination of well-known artists and young talents is expected to deliver colorful, high-quality performances and an emotionally rich artistic atmosphere.

In the coming period, the project will introduce a wider range of art forms, including folk, classical, and contemporary music, creating a diverse musical space to serve both residents and visitors.
The “Weekend Music” project is expected to become a new cultural hallmark of Hanoi, contributing to the promotion of an elegant, friendly, and creative Capital. When music resonates within a historic space, culture spreads more deeply, enriching the spiritual life of the public and visitors alike, and leaving a lasting, beautiful impression on audiences.
