Vice Chairwoman of the City People’s Committee Vu Thu Ha has just issued Official Dispatch No. 3944/UBND-KGVX dated 07/7/2025 on the implementation of the Scheme for the exhibition of socio-economic achievements in celebration of the 80th anniversary of National Day (02/9/1945 – 02/9/2025).
The exhibition is implemented pursuant to Decision No. 90/QD-BTC dated 01/7/2025 of the Organizing Committee of the Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements in celebration of the 80th anniversary of National Day (02/9/1945 – 02/9/2025) on the approval of the Scheme for the exhibition of socio-economic achievements in celebration of the 80th anniversary of National Day.
Accordingly, the City People’s Committee requires the following:
Regarding construction, decoration, and operation of the Capital’s dedicated space, the Hanoi Institute for Socio-Economic Development Studies, the Department of Industry and Trade, and the Department of Agriculture and Environment are assigned to coordinate in organizing the construction, decoration, and operation of the exhibition space showcasing the cultural, economic, and social achievements of the Capital within the thematic sub-zone “Prosperous Provinces, Strong Nation” and other sub-zones in which the City participates.

Regarding traffic organization and assurance of security and safety: the City Police shall take the lead, in coordination with the Department of Construction and relevant units, in planning and organizing traffic routing and traffic flow diversion; arranging free-of-charge and fee-based public transport routes; ensuring traffic order and safety, fire prevention and fighting, search and rescue; and developing specific scenarios and plans.
Regarding medical services and food safety, the Department of Health is assigned to establish a medical task force; prepare vehicles, equipment, supplies, and essential medicines; organize health care and medical services; and ensure food safety for participants in the exhibition.
Regarding the organization of kick-off activities, festivals, and art performances, the Department of Culture and Sports shall take the lead, in coordination with relevant units, in organizing festivals, creative camps, art performance programs, tourism fairs, and culinary events to serve the People and visitors.
Regarding communication and promotion, the Department of Culture and Sports shall upgrade landscapes and arrange banners and posters in residential areas, tourist sites, and exhibition areas; at the same time, direct press and media agencies to provide news coverage and articles before, during, and after the exhibition.
Regarding budgetary matters, the Department of Finance is assigned to provide guidance on the preparation, appraisal, approval, and allocation of budget estimates for implementation and final settlement in accordance with regulations.
