On 27th April, the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front committee of Hoan Kiem district held the final round of the propagational contest on “Code of Conducts exercised by cadres, civil servants, officers and labourers in Ha Noi city’s bodies” associated with the implementation of the 5 criteria in cultural behaviors of residents living in the old street quarter.
Earlier, as from 9 – 14th April, the divisions, bodies, units, Fatherland Fronts and 18 wards split into 6 cluster, including: 3 clusters of wards, 1 cluster of the Fatherland Fronts and socio-political organizations, 1 cluster of training and education sector, 1 cluster of the divisions and branches belonging to the district People’s Committee took part in the primary round. Ending this, the Organizing Committee had selected 6 teams for the final.
All the teams had undergone three parts of the competition: cultural behaviour in office, presentation of creative ideas in practicing the Code of Conducts and a mini drama show on propagation.

Upon closing the contest, the Organizing Committee had awarded the special prize to the team of the cluster No.3, the first prize to the team of the cluster No.2, 02 second prizes to the team of the cluster No.5 and 6, 02 third prizes to the team of the cluster No.1 and 4. The Organizing Committee had also presented the most impressive prize to the mini drama show conducted by the team of the cluster No.1, the best prize for the team of the cluster No.4 for the part of office culture competition and the movement prize given to the teams of the clusters No. 1,2,3,4,5,6 and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hoan Kiem district.

The contest was a practical and substantive activity organized in the form of creative propaganda and stage adaptation to put the Code of Conducts into life, so as to make the rules and sentences written in the documents become easy to understand, comprehend and observe, and wide spread; thus, helping each cadre, civil servant and officer fully grasp the content of the Code of Conduct, leading to the transformation from thinking to action in abiding by the rules and regulations, and in communicating with and behaving the public. At the same time, it helped strengthen the nurturing of ethics, actively learn and act after Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, ethics and styles. This was also the chance for the contingent of cadres, officers and labourers working in the bodies and units of Hoan Kiem district to interact, exchange experiences and expertises in the exercise of public missions, as well as behaving and communicating with residents.
