On the morning of the 20th May, at Cam Tu monument, Ha Noi, New Ha Noi Newspapers collaborated with Ha Noi Department of culture and Sports to organize a launching ceremony of the press photos contest titled “Hanoians’s civilized and elegant behaviourals”. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Van Suu – member of the Municipal Standing Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Ha Noi People’s Committee together with representatives from the relevant departments, agencies, branches and unions stationed in the area of the city..
According to the Organizing Committee, early 2017 Ha Noi city has released two important codes of conduct, including: “the Code of Conduct for cadres, civil servants, officers, labourers in the city’s state organs” and “the Code of Conduct in the city’s public areas”. The appearance of the two codes of conduct has helped build a network of regulations within Ha Noi’s communicative environmentwith its unique charateristics which are in conformity with traditions and having modern features, or otherwise words, attitude, acts of behaviours will be step by step polished so as to keep Ha Noi’s cultural characteristics, bring into play the fine traditions of Thang Long – Ha Noi.
Upon a certtain period of implementation, the two codes of conduct have had positive impactcs on a large number of people, helping cadres, civil servants, officers and labourers understand more about their responsibilities, thus raising their awarenesses, pride over the Capital’s cultural traditions, shaping many good cultural things in daily life.
With a view to further stepping up propagation of the two codes of conduct, the contest for press photos titled “Hanoians’s civilized and elegant behaviours” will launched whose targets are all Vietnamese citizens, overseas Vietnamese and expatriates in Viet Nam. Qualified photos should reflect the good and not good things in the exercise of the two codes of conducts. These are the pictures taken on lifestyles, activitiess, cultural behaviours,.. of organizations, individuals who are living, working, doing business in the area of the Capital..

The award-presenting ceremony is scheduled to take place in mid October, 2017 in commemoration of the 63rd Anniversary for the Capital’s Liberation Day and the 60th Anniversary for New Ha Noi Newspaper’s first daily issue release.
