On the morning of 26th May, at the exhibition hall of 45 Trang Tien – Ha Noi, an Art Photos Exhibition titled “Viet Nam – My Homeland” by photographer Vu Hai was inaugurated. Attending the exhibition were Mr. Huynh Vinh Ai, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Ms. Trinh Thi Thuy, Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture; Mr. Nguyen Khac Loi, Deputy Director of Ha Noi Department of Culture and Sports; Mr. Vu Quoc Khanh, Chairman of Viet Nam Photography Association. The exhibition was under the art sponsorship of Viet Nam Photography Association.
Vu Hai, an outstanding photographer, titled as E-VAPA, A-FIAP, presently is working at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The exhibition was displaying 139 photo artworks which has been taken since 1982 till now. All the works have been made on new materials and by modern technology with varying types and themes, and differrent vivid colours. Notable are the works on the Spratlys of Viet Nam, a bazaar in the highlands, the new rurality’s road building,.. which have brought the viewers with the multi-sided aspects of human life. The exhibition has been visited and highly appreciated by a large number of audience.
