As of 25 – 28 May 2017, at Kim Dong cinema, Goethe Institute in Ha Noi in coordination with the International Film Festival for kids and youth (SCHINGEL) of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The festival has introduced to Vietnamese audience 6 selective German films exclusive for children and youth as such “Lena’s love”, “the World’s centre”, “Mullewap”, “Within the eyesights, Rico, Oskar and a stolen stone”, “Turquoise prince” and “fairy of soya flower”. The Organizing Committee has teamed with the Mill of Ty Toay Atelier in Lang pagoda street, Think Playgrounds in Au Co street and Blossom Art House in Tran Hung Dao street to provide a variety of educational curriculums designed for each film and differrent age groups. The objective of the festival has been to build the youth’s capabilities in approaching, analyzing and judging, and thus making contribution to the process of developing the children’s cultural understandings, creativity and individual personalities.
Coming to the film festival, parents, kids and film young lovers will be able to exhange with the invited guests, especially the film producers of “Lena’s love”, “Within the eyesights, Rico, Oskar and a stolen stone”, together with the German Director of the International Film Festival for kids and youth. Having been participating in the interesting and exciting activities and free of charge workshops, on films, it will help provoke the young audience’s thinking about films and encourage them to express their opinions and have more chances to accumulate experiences in front of the camera.
