The tournament is part of the General Education Student Sports Games for the 2024-2025 academic year, celebrating the 70th anniversary of Hanoi’s Education and Training sector.
The competition attracted 246 athletes from 21 secondary schools across the district. Athletes competed in three categories: men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles, with age groups of 12-13 and 14-15 years old. The tournament proceeded with great enthusiasm, featuring many exciting and impressive matches that drew large crowds of spectators.

From November 2 to November 24, the Thach That District’s Department of Education and Training, in collaboration with the district’s Center for Culture, Information and Sports, will continue organizing competitions in various sports: Shuttlecock kicking on November 5 at Dai Dong Secondary School; Swimming (November 11) at Phu Kim Swimming Pool in Thuy Lai Village, Phu Kim Commune; Football (November 13, 18) at Phu Kim Football Field in Thuy Lai Village, Phu Kim Commune; Athletics (November 22) at Thach That District Stadium; and Vovinam martial arts (November 23, 24) at Dai Dong Secondary School./.
