The exhibition introduces 50 works with meaningful messages of life. Each work is an emotion at different levels, a deep vibration in the author’s heart about the love of life. Simple and close images such as lamps, lime pots, teapots, flowerpots, five fruits of folk toys, etc. to the corners of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, mountainous landscapes, fields, and rural rivers shown in the picture to express the love of life, love of people, love of nature, love of homeland and country.
Graduating from Hanoi University of Fine Arts (currently known as Vietnam University of Fine Art) in 2000, during his studies, painter Nguyen Minh Son has participated in many exhibitions in Hanoi since 1996. In 2004, the artist successfully held his first solo exhibition in Hanoi. The exhibition has received many positive signals and appreciation from professionals and the art-loving public, giving him more confidence to participate in many international exhibitions as well as to hold solo exhibitions at home and abroad since then.
The exhibition “Life around us” is open until November 14, 2021, at the Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum, located at No. 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Ba Dinh, Hanoi.
