This is an important event and one of the key tasks in the series of activities commemorating the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The exhibition aims to honor the country’s development journey, affirm the leadership role of the Party, highlight the strength of national unity, and promote the image of Vietnam to international friends. At the same time, it serves to propagate and educate revolutionary traditions, contributing to raising awareness, national pride, patriotism, and a sense of responsibility among the entire Party, the people, and the army regarding the 80-year journey of building, defending, and developing the country since President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, founding the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam).
The exhibition will include the following main activities: displaying and introducing socio-economic achievements over 80 years of nation-building, defense, and development. In addition, there will be supporting activities such as fairs, cultural, tourism, and culinary booths, handicraft villages… serving the shopping and leisure needs of the people; artistic programs, music festivals, and activities before, during, and after the exhibition… meeting the cultural enjoyment needs of the public.

The exhibition will involve the participation of all ministries, sectors, and localities nationwide, as well as enterprises representing both state-owned and private businesses.
According to proposed plans, the exhibition floor area is expected to reach up to 260,000 square meters (130,000 square meters indoors and 130,000 square meters outdoors). In addition to displayed artifacts, the exhibition will feature 3D mapping projections, virtual reality experiences, multimedia audiovisual works, and applications of digital technology and AI.
The Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements on the occasion of the 80th National Day (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025), organized under the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, is an opportunity to honor the country’s significant achievements in the fields of economy, culture, society, national defense, security, and foreign affairs over the past 80 years, especially during the period of renovation, integration, and development. It creates an inspiring space and sets a future direction. Through the exhibition, it aims to awaken faith, determination, and the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country; to promote a spirit of innovation among all layers of society, particularly the younger generation.
It is also an occasion to promote the image of Vietnam and its people, creating opportunities to strengthen international exchange and cooperation; to boost trade, investment, and tourism promotion, and to affirm Vietnam’s position in the region and the world.
