With the theme “Hanoi Autumn – A Season of Memories,” the 3rd Hanoi Autumn Festival invites visitors to experience the city’s beauty through a gentle and refined portrayal of autumn, where memory, culture, and modern urban life blend harmoniously within each experiential space.

Featuring 150 booths, the Festival brings together localities, wards and communes, businesses, tourist sites, traditional craft villages, artisans, and artists, creating a vibrant and emotionally rich cultural – tourism space. The exhibition areas are designed around multiple themes, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the most characteristic facets of Hanoi’s autumn through tourism products, seasonal tours, exhibition art, and distinctive cultural stories.

In addition to the opening art program “The Melody of Hanoi’s Autumn,” held at 7:30 p.m. on 21 November and elaborately staged as a symphony of light, music, and memory, the Festival offers a wide range of engaging activities.

Visitors can fully experience the charm of autumn through themed zones such as: “Autumn Colors,” featuring artistic mini-scenes and check-in spaces recreating the signature red and yellow hues of Hanoi’s autumn; “Hanoi Destinations,” showcasing the capital’s prominent tourist sites, craft villages, and heritage assets; “Old Quarter Travel Realm,” where airlines, travel agencies, and hotels introduce autumn tourism promotion programs; the culinary space “Flavors of Memory,” offering the essence of regional cuisine and dishes closely associated with Hanoi’s autumn; and “Hanoi – The Rhythm of Youth,” with street performances, handicraft workshops, sketching, interactive music, and children’s play areas.

Within the Festival framework, the photo exhibition “Hanoi – Autumn Through the Lens” presents images capturing autumn moments in Hanoi from the perspectives of photographers and Hanoi lovers.

A major highlight is the mass art performance taking place at 8:30 a.m. on 23 November along Tran Nhan Tong pedestrian street. The program introduces distinctive cultural heritages such as Thanh Oai lion – dragon dances, Te Tieu land puppetry, and Dan Phuong cheo tau singing and dancing, alongside youthful dance performances by students and children. This blend of tradition and modernity promises a lively, inspiring, and distinctly Hanoi-flavored festive atmosphere.

The Festival also features various community-connecting activities, including the children’s creative playground “Autumn Through My Eyes,” the online photography contest “Hanoi Memory Moments,” the experiential tour “Hanoi’s Five Ancient Gates,” the “Touching Hanoi’s Autumn” event series by Vietnam Airlines promoting tourism through art, and the “Me, Hanoi” Photo Tour exploring eight representative destinations such as Ba Vi, Soc Son, Huong Son, Duong Lam, Bat Trang, and West Lake. These activities help spread the spirit of autumn and bring the Festival closer to the community and visitors.

The closing ceremony will take place on the evening of 23 November, featuring a special art program and an appreciation segment honoring organizations and individuals accompanying the event. More than a tourism activity, the 3rd Hanoi Autumn Festival offers residents and visitors an opportunity to return to the most beautiful memories of Hanoi’s autumn.

“Hanoi Autumn – A Season of Memories” not only recreates cherished recollections, but also helps create new ones – pure, beautiful, and meaningful – shared with the people of the capital and friends and visitors from across the country and around the world.
