“Being a female is to shine”: a message carrying equal values for women in any circumstance

The concert night would be taking place at 20.00hrs on 27 November, 2020 at Ha Noi Opera House. The programme would be premiered by the most excellent and promising solo young female artists and aim at connecting men and women, girls and boys, and those who are under differrent cultural and social conditions coming from differrent regions in Viet Nam and the entire world as well.

Orchestra conductor Honna Tetsuji said, this is the first time Viet Nam Symphony Orchestra will perform together with many promising young female artists like Đỗ Ngọc Thảo My (violin), Phạm Lê Phương (piano) và Bùi Thị Trang (opera).

Đỗ Ngọc Thảo My graduated as bachelor of violin at Viet Nam National Conservatoire and has had a long period studying and performing with the Asian Young Orchestra in many countries.

Bùi Thị Trang finished with the distinction bachelor degree specializing in vocal musics at Viet Nam National Conservatoire. Since 2013, she has been actress of Viet Nam Drama Dance Theatre, playing the primary role in operas i.e “Magic flute” by Mozart, “Carmen” by Bizet, “Statue sculptor” by Đỗ Nhuận and most recently in “Miserable men”, novel by Victor Hugo, musics by Arnold Schoenberg.

As for Phạm Lê Phương, she began learning to play piano when she was only 4. After having graduated from the Piano falculty, at Viet Nam National Conservatoire, she has continued studying piano at Colburn Music Academy, US. Since she was 10, she has obtained many awards at the international piano contests.

Within the concert, the artists would present the most welknown music versions as “Piano Concerto No 23” of Mozart, “Meditation” of J. Massenet, “Carmen” of Bizet and extract of “Romeo và Juliet” by Tchaikovsky.
