Ha Noi is one of the few Capital cities in the world which has a long-standing history of its formation and development. Undergoing for over 1.000 years of uncountable ebbs and flows, Thang Long – Ha Noi has become a land of “sacredness and exceptional characters”, converging the brave souls of rivers and mountains, elites, national strengths, which shines the national image in the most concentrated and typified manner. Being the heart of the whole country – Ha Noi is the place whereby the national cultural identities, cultural tradition, humanities and peace-loving Vietnamese people have been crystalized and spread.
Ha Noi is the locality with quite a great number of merit artisans who have been accreditted by the President with noble titles, namely 7 people’s artisans, 69 merit artisans. These are the craftspeople who have made considerable contributions to preserving, educating and promoting the intangible cultural heritages of Ha Noi.

At the event, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong asserted that in recent years Ha Noi has well managed the conservation of cultural heritages, many of them have been listed and many special national ones had been recognized.

According to Mr. To Van Dong, Director of Ha Noi Department of Culture and Sports: in the coming time, Ha Noi will continue to effectively implement the Programme No. 06 of Ha Noi Party Committee on “Socio-cultural development, improvement of human resources, building graceful and civilized hanoians for the period 2021-2025”, the scheme on development of the cultural industry coupled with amelioration of the cultural market, taking culture and cultural creation as a basis for the sustainable urban development.
At the gettogether, the craftsmen had presented many types of intangible heritage, namely festival songs, saint respect songs – the intangible heritages have been conserved by Ha Noi for the past years.
