The gifts were sent to the children at the Thanh Oai District Relief Center for Disabled Children
With only a week left until the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Covid-19 pandemic is still complicated, this year’s moon season for children will be special. There will be no activities to display the feast, procession of the star lantern, dance, singing, entertainment instead, each locality, community and family organize to welcome the Mid-Autumn Festival suitably and meet regulations on pandemic prevention and control. Following the theme and activities of the Action Month for Children 2021 “Joining hands to ensure the implementation of children’s rights, protecting children during natural disasters and pandemics”, to promote the role of a bridge in children care and protection and education, especially in the context of the complicated situation of the Covid-19 pandemic in Hanoi city, the Hanoi Youth Union implemented the program “Hanoi’s Gratitude – Giving full love – Mid-Autumn Festival for Children”.
At the program, the Youth Union – City Team Council and benefactors gave 60 gifts with one box of moon cakes per each and International Pharmaceutical Trading Investment Joint Stock Company gave each child VND 300,000. These meaningful gifts will contribute to sharing, encouraging and helping the children living at the Thanh Oai District Relief Center for Disabled Children to overcome difficulties in life and celebrate the warm and joyful Mid-Autumn Festival and ensure safety during Covid-19.
