Over the past time, the implementation of Program 04-CTr / TU of the City Party Committee on “Cultural-social development, improvement of the human resources of the Capital, building of the elegant and civilized Hanoi people for the 2016 – 2020 period” in Ha Dong district has always been focused and directed by all levels of Party committees, local goverments and mass organizations for synchronous and widespread implemenation; to closely associate such task with the tasks of socio-economic development, security and defense in the locality.
Accordingly, the awareness of Party committees, authorities, branches, unions and people at all levels in terms of cultural development has been improved; awareness of the responsibility of every citizen to participate in the building of the cultural life is improved, reflected in the observance of the law, active participation in social activities, cultural and elegant behaviors and lifestyle and consciousnesss of protecting, preserving, embellishing and promoting the value of historical and cultural relics in the area. Many traditional cultural values in the family and community have been promoted; urban culture lifestyle is interested to be built; forming the cultural beauty in the life of Ha Dong people.
Conservation, embellishment and promotion of the relics are always interested in the district
In socio-cultural development, up to now, there are 206 relics in Ha Dong district, of which 50 rank as national level and 36 rank as provincial or city level. 100% of the festival organization events shall comply with the Regulations. The ceremonies are solemnly held. The festivasl are preserved and promoted in term of traditional folk games associated with cultural activities, sports and entertainment, attracting a large number of people to participate and contributing to prevent social evils, orienting people to Truth-Goodness-Beauty. The work of building, consolidating and developing the system of cultural institutions has always been concerned by the district with the active investment and supplement of the budget for the development of cultural and information institution system, playgrounds and training grounds. sports houses, stadiums, libraries, bookcases … Up to now, the district has 182 cultural houses and meeting rooms, (77.1% of the groups has cultural houses and meeting rooms) and 18 stadiums. The system of parks and entertainment places in the district is also expanded. The district has a library with nearly 6,000 books, 10 basic bookcases, and a private library serving the needs of cultural activities for the people. Implementing the Program 04-CTr / TU of Hanoi Party Committee, currently the district is planning the system of cultural and sports institutions in the area and strives that by 2020, Ha Dong district will have 100% of residential groups with cultural houses and meeting rooms.
The system of cultural institutions in the district is actively invested
In the development of health care, from the early days of the epidemics, the District People’s Committee has drastically directed the Steering Committee on epidemic prevention in the district, branches, People’s Committees of the wards to coordinate with the mass organizations to implement measures to prevent dengue fever throughout the district, regularly organize the environmental sanitation of mosquito larvae and mosquito spray in all areas at high risk and in the wide area in some wards. In the work of social security and job creation, the District Center for Job Placement has counseled and introduced the jobs for 6,904 workers (reaching 138.1% of the plan 2016 and 85% over the same period in 2015). In 2016, the vocational training had provided for 2,000 laborers reaching 100% of the plan assigned by the district, 65.5% of trained laborers. 3,000 laborers has been employed, reaching 100% of the plan. Unemployment rate is 7.5%.
In 2017, the district continues organizing the dissemination and propagation of Program 04-CTr / TU of the Party Committee – Second phase (2016-2020); Provincial Party Committee’s Plan 36-KH / QU and related documents, taking care of the restoration and embellishment of relics and the religious work in the district, paying attention to the building of cultural institutions in which the building of cultural houses and meeting rooms is focused, strengthening cultural – arts and sport activitiesin the area, especially the “All people unite to build the cultural life” movement”.
