In an atmostphere of freshness and joys in early days of the new year and in honour of the success of the 12nd Party Congress of National Deputies, on the morning of 12 February (5th Lunar year Tet of Binh Than) , at Ha Noi Museum, Ha Noi Department of Culture and Sports organized a launching ceremony of plant-growing Tet in eternal commemoration of Uncle Ho. Attending the ceremony was Mr. Pham Quang Nghi, former polibureau member and Party Chief of Ha Noi; Mr. Dao Duc Toan, Deputy Party Chief of Ha Noi; Mr. Le Van Hoat, Vice Chairman of Ha Noi People’s Council; Mr. To Van Dong, Ha Noi Party Committee member, Director of Ha Noi Department of Culture and Sports; representative leader of South Tu Liem District People’s Committee and a great number of staff members of Ha Noi Department of Culture and Sports.
At the Ceremony, delegates all together reminisced about the historic traditions that on 28 November 1959, President Ho Chi Minh launched the plant-growing Tet in the wish that : “In 20 years’ time, our country will have a fresher and more beautiful landscapes, milder climate and more sufficient timber trees. Such will make an important contribution to improvement of people’s life”.
Bearing deeply in mind and acting on his words, on the occassion of early Spring of the new year of Binh Than 2016, Ha Noi Department of Culture and Sports organized a launching ceremony of plant-growing Tet in eternal commemoration of Uncle Ho, aimed at calling on the entire cadres, civil servants, staffs, wage-eaners, coaches, athetes, artists, performers of culture and sports of Ha Noi to actively participate in newly growing, protecting and nurturing green trees. This effort is not only in response of City’s Year of Order Keeping and Civilization 2016, but substantive activity to protect the life environment, bringing back the green of the Capital.

After the Plant – Ceremony in Ha Noi Museum’s compound, delegates took part in asking for early year’s scripts from talented calligraphists of Ha Noi Capital and enjoyed traditional music performances on the occassion of the earlier new year’s Spring./.
