Activities in response to Law Day closely follow the leadership and guidance of the Central Government and the City regarding lawmaking, law enforcement, and law protection; at the same time, raising the awareness of law supremacy among officials, civil servants, students, and the people of the capital.

The theme this year is determined as: “Building a culture of law compliance in the whole society, raising awareness of respect for the Constitution and the law among all citizens and organizations.”

Activities are implemented practically, economically, effectively, linked with the political tasks of each agency, unit, and locality; taking the people as the center, focusing on grassroots. Departments, sectors, and localities carry out many diverse forms such as conferences, seminars, forums, policy dialogues, legal consultations, free legal aid, organizing “mock trials” at schools, law knowledge competitions, extracurricular activities, as well as enhancing communication through press, social networks, public loudspeakers, and iHaNoi.

Along with that, Hanoi strengthens visual propaganda and promotion activities at offices, central streets, schools, and public places to create a strongly spreading atmosphere about Law Day.

Press and television agencies develop special pages, talk show programs, honoring exemplary figures of “good people, good deeds” in complying with and protecting the law.
