Collectives and individuals received certificates of merit from Hanoi City Trade Union of Officials
The Hanoi City Trade Union of Officials is directly managing 65 grassroots trade unions with 10,141 members / 10,159 cadres and civil servants. In 2017, the levels of the Trade Union completed well the contents and the program worked out. In particular, the patriotic emulation movement was implemented effectively, contributing to the successful completion of the socio-economic development of the Capital and the country. To attach importance to the implementation of emulation movements, the grassroots trade unions have advised the heads of agencies and units to organize and raise the quality of performance of this work, focusing on the emulation movement. “Working well”, “Working creatively”; “Good people, good deeds”, “Being good at national affairs and home affairs”; movement “Building of cultural agencies, 8 working hours of effectiveness and quality” associated with the mobilization of cadres, civil servants and officials “Loyalty, responsibility, integrity and creativity”, thereby encouraging staffs and trade union members to promote their sense of responsibility in performing their duties, scientific research, administrative reforms, propsing many initiatives in work, improving the quality of public services, saving and anti-waste in each agency and unit, striving to successfully complete the political tasks of agencies, units and socio-economic targets of the city in 2017, gaining the achievements to welcome the Trade Union Congress at all levels, the big holidays and major political events of the country, Capital and the Trade Union.
Emulation has contributed to motivating staffs and trade union members to promote their sense of responsibility in performing their duties, scientific research, administrative reforms, propsing many initiatives in work, improving the quality of public services, saving and anti-waste in each agency and unit, striving to successfully complete the political tasks of agencies, units and socio-economic targets of the Capital and country.
In particular, to implement the Directive No. 01-CT / UBND dated 03/02/2017 of the City People’s Committee on the implementation of “Year of the Administrative Discipline 2017” and Plan No. 04 / KH-LDLD dated 20/01/2017 of the Hanoi Confederation of Labour on the implementation of the “Year for the benefit of trade union members”; Standing Committee of the Trade Union has made the plan for implementing the “Year of the Administrative Discipline 2017” and “Year for the benefit of trade union members” in up to 100% of the affiliated grassroots trade unions. The grassroots trade unions, based on the actual conditions and situation of their agencies and units, have taken the initiative in working out their implementation plans with concrete and practical contents and diversified forms; organize for staffs to sign the commitments on carrying out the Code of Conduct for officers and employees working in the agencies in Hanoi; Code of Conduct in public places in Hanoi; register to implement at least 2 specific tasks regarding the Trade Union; at the same time, direct each trade union to register at least one specific task, each trade union member to register to carry out at least one specific task in order to respond to “Year of the Administrative Discipline 2017” of the City and “Year for the benefit of trade union members” of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. In particular, many units also organize propaganda activities for the staffs and officers in various forms, typically such as Trade Union of Communist Party Committee of the City Department organized the contest of Code of Conduct of officers and employees in the agencies in the City; Trade Union of the City Department of Justice organized the contest “Beauty of offices” for the staffs and officials. Through the emulation movements, many typical groups and individuals are discovered. Amongst them, 01 collective is awarded with the Certificate of Merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 9 collectives and individuals are awarded with the certificates of merit by the Vietnam Public Sector Union; 13 collectives and individuals are awarded with the certificates of merit and excellent emulation flag by the Hanoi Confederation of Labor; 138 collectives and individuals are awarded certificates of merit by the Hanoi Trade Union of Officials. In 2017, 291 elite members were admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Promoting achievements in emulation movements in the past time, in 2018, all levels of the Hanoi Trade Union of Officials strive so that 100% of grassroots trade unions launch emulation movements and register their emulation titles of cadres, civil servants, employees and laborers; over 75% of cadres, civil servants, employees and workers are awarded the titles “advanced laborers”, “emulation officers”, “good people and good deeds”; 85-90% of female cadres, civil servants, employees receive the title of “good at national affairs and home affairs”; 95% of the families of cadres, civil servants, employees and laborers are granted the title of “cultural family”; 100% of agencies and units register to strive and more than 60% of them are awarded with the titles of cultural agencies and units; over 90% of the grassroots trade unions are awarded with titles of the strong units, no grassroots trade unions rank weak; over 200 elite members are introduced and admitted to the Party.
