The website’s interface is designed in a festive, modern spirit, reflecting the rich Thang Long – Hanoi cultural identity. Prominently on the homepage, images of President Ho Chi Minh reading the Declaration of Independence and the parade marching team convey the sacred historical spirit. Content sections are organized logically and intuitively for ease of use, including event listings, photo-video galleries, and a digital map for real-time event lookup.
In her opening speech, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports Nguyen Thi Mai Huong emphasized: 2025 marks a historic milestone, 80 years since the great autumn of 1945, when President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence at the historic Ba Dinh Square, founding the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and opening a new era of independence, freedom, and sacred sovereignty for the nation. In this heroic flow, Hanoi – the heart of the country – not only witnessed these monumental historical moments but also served as a hub to gather and spread cultural values and patriotic traditions. Tasked with organizing major commemorative activities, Hanoi is preparing seriously, meticulously, and creatively for this series of significant national events.
