According to the plan, the City People’s Committee implements 8 tasks and solutions to realize the above content, including enhancing the leadership of the Party, promoting propaganda, grasping and raising awareness for cadres, party members and all classes of people about the position and role of culture in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, propagating the implementation of the cultural building and development and the Capital’s people to inherit Vietnam’s cultural and human traditions, values and standards, meet requirements in the new situation associated with the real situation and specific conditions of the city and of each locality, agency or unit, focusing on the specificity of culture, ensuring both the development of culture, literature and art in accordance with the Party’s politics and ideology and the creative freedom of individuals on the basis of promoting self-awareness with the right purpose.
Along with that, the City People’s Committee also implements tasks and solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of State management, to build Hanoi people for comprehensive development, a healthy cultural environment, culture in politics and economy…, especially the harmonious development between conservation and promotion of cultural heritage values with economic development activities, especially sustainable tourism economy in localities to contribute to promoting the image of the country and people of the Capital to provinces and cities nationwide and international friends, to attach importance to implementing programs to restore and preserve a number of traditional arts that are in danger of extinction; to preserve and promote cultural heritage of ethnic minorities, cultural values in religions and beliefs.
The City People’s Committee also encourages and facilitates the creativity of a team of writers and artists to have many works of ideological and artistic value, renovates the operating modes of literary and art associations, improves the professionalism, at the same time, broadly develops public literature and arts, invests more in theoretical research, literary and art criticism…
The city will also focus on developing the cultural industry in parallel with building and completing the cultural market; at the same time, actively integrate into the world culture, acquire the cultural quintessence of humanity.
