The People’s Committee of Hanoi City has just issued Decision No. 2617/QD-UBND on the ranking of historical, cultural, and scenic sites in the city.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hanoi City decided to rank the following sites at the city level:
Historical-artistic site Bai An-Quan Cay communal house, Ao Ca, Nghia Do ward, Cau Giay district, Hanoi City; Historical-artistic site Yen Thai Pagoda (Phuc Lam Tu), Tien Yen commune, Hoai Duc district, Hanoi City; Historical-artistic site Ben Pagoda (Kim Phong Tu), Tien Yen commune, Hoai Duc district, Hanoi City; Historical-artistic site Trung Dich communal house, Ha Mo commune, Dan Phuong district, Hanoi City;
Historical-artistic site Chinh Khi Temple, Ha Mo commune, Dan Phuong district, Hanoi City; Historical-cultural site Meo House, Song Phuong commune, Dan Phuong district, Hanoi City; Historical-cultural site Phan Long communal house, Tan Hoi commune, Dan Phuong district, Hanoi City; Historical-artistic site Thuy Hoi communal house, Tan Hoi commune, Dan Phuong district, Hanoi City;

The protection area of the sites is determined according to the minutes and zoning maps of the protection areas in the scientific dossier proposing the site ranking.
After a site is ranked, the People’s Committees of Cau Giay, Hoai Duc, Dan Phuong, Nam Tu Liem, and Thanh Oai districts are responsible for publicly announcing the protected area, organizing the preparation of boundary marking dossiers, and implementing the boundary marking on-site in accordance with their authority and current legal regulations;
The People’s Committees of the wards and communes: Nghia Do (Cau Giay), Tien Yen (Hoai Duc), Ha Mo, Song Phuong, Tan Hoi, Tan Lap, Trung Chau (Dan Phuong), Dai Mo, Phu Do, My Dinh 1, Me Tri (Nam Tu Liem), Kim Thu, Lien Chau (Thanh Oai) shall issue decisions to establish Site Management Boards;
Organize the management of the site’s area and space, all artifacts belonging to the site, activities to protect and promote the value of the site, and the use of the site’s revenue in accordance with Decision No. 48/2016/QD-UBND dated November 17, 2016, and Decision No. 31/2021/QD-UBND dated December 29, 2021, of the Hanoi City People’s Committee on promulgating the regulations and amending certain articles of the regulations on the management, protection, and promotion of the value of historical-cultural sites and scenic sites in Hanoi.
All activities related to construction or exploitation within the ranked sites and their protection zones are strictly prohibited. In special cases where land use or construction is necessary within the site, permission must be obtained from the People’s Committee of Hanoi City.
The Department of Culture and Sports, the People’s Committees of Cau Giay, Hoai Duc, Dan Phuong, Nam Tu Liem, and Thanh Oai districts, and the People’s Committees of the wards and communes: Nghia Do (Cau Giay), Tien Yen (Hoai Duc), Ha Mo, Song Phuong, Tan Hoi, Tan Lap, Trung Chau (Dan Phuong), Dai Mo, Phu Do, My Dinh 1, Me Tri (Nam Tu Liem), Kim Thu, Lien Chau (Thanh Oai), where the ranked sites are located, within their tasks and authority, shall carry out state management of the sites in accordance with the law on cultural heritage.
