The 2025 National Championship and National Age-Group Championship in Roller Sports were organized by the Vietnam General Department of Sports and Physical Training and the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with the Vietnam Ice Skating and Roller Sports Federation, on the occasion of celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025). The event also continued to promote the campaign “All People Practice Physical Training Following the Example of the Great Uncle Ho.”

Held over three days (August 15–17) at the National Sports Complex (Hanoi), the championship attracted over 200 athletes from 12 provinces and cities: Bac Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Lao Cai, Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Dong Thap, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai, Son La, and Hanoi, competing in categories including Speed Skating, Artistic Roller Skating, and Skateboarding.

“Roller Sports is a discipline that combines speed, technique, strength, and flexibility, demanding perseverance and continuous breakthroughs. This spirit has contributed to the remarkable achievements of Vietnamese sports in recent years, and we believe that this championship will help nurture more talents, enhancing the country’s stature in international competitions,” emphasized the Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports.
