Specifically, Hoan Kiem district will organize propaganda about President Ho Chi Minh’s glorious biography, life and revolutionary career; honoring his great dedication to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the people of Vietnam, with the communist movement and international workers; Expressing the deep respect and gratitude of the Vietnamese people and the love and respect for the people of all over the world towards President Ho Chi Minh. Propagandizing and replicating good models, creative and effective ways of example, good people, good deeds in all fields of social life; praising typical collectives and individuals in the implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Ministry of Politics in the units. Propagating and promoting visually with banners, slogans, panels, posters… at offices of agencies, units, schools, especially on main streets, central areas, public places…, propagandizing at ward boards; mobilizing the People, agencies and units in the district to fly the National, etc.
The district also deployed decoration to celebrate the 130th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2020) in the Hoan Kiem lake area and some flower gardens in the area. To enhance the work of ensuring urban order, traffic safety and order, and environmental sanitation in main streets and civilized urban streets. To encourage people to embellish canopy and mobile awnings to ensure urban beauty of works and houses around Hoan Kiem Lake area according to the plan approved by the City. To promote the movement of building a civilized lifestyle, maintain general hygiene practices every Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, raising awareness of regular sanitation in each family to ensure a clean environment to prevent COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition, the district implemented the inspection, repair, embellishment and environmental sanitation of monuments, relics, souvenir sites, revolutionary relic sites related to Ho Chi Minh in the area, ensuring hygiene, spacious landscape, green and clean environment. To organize exchange activities, seminars, talks, incense offering ceremonies, reports at places with souvenir steles, revolutionary relic sites related to President Ho Chi Minh, stele, cemeteries martyrs in the area, creating conditions for many strata of people to show their respect and affection towards President Ho Chi Minh.
On this occasion, the district will also organize visiting activities, giving gifts to policy beneficiaries, the elderly, and typical individuals; coordinating with social organizations to mobilize all strata of the people to promote the spirit of “tolerance and solidarity” to help poor families in the area continue to review and list the cases suffering from difficulties resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring publicity, transparency, the right people and the right subjects.
