The commendation program “Typical young families” in 2020 aims to celebrate and honor typical young families; build and spread the good values of the Vietnamese family; as well as, to raise awareness about the role, position and responsibility of the family for the development of society; bring into full play the fine traditional values of the Vietnamese family and selectively absorb the family’s advanced values in a developed society; mobilize members and youth to actively build prosperous, happy, equal and progressive families.
Subjects to be commended are families with members of parents and children of Vietnamese citizen; in which father and mother get married according to the Law on Marriage and Family; parents are both at the age of no more than 35 (born from 1985 onwards).

Typical young families must be recognized by the government and the masses, receive a Certificate of Merit for a Cultural Family between 2017 and 2019; have many efforts, and overcome difficult circumstances to build a prosperous, harmonious, happy and progressive life; labor organization, production, business, productivity, quality and efficiency; well perform the role of child care, protection and education.
In addition to related content, young families will have to make an article by the representative of the family member (parent or child) or a video clip introducing their family prescribing the process of overcoming difficulties in life to build a full, happy family and have views and thoughts on a prosperous, happy and progressive family. The Central Vietnam Youth Union will receive their applications until May 3, 2020.
Young families attending the commendation program will be able to participate in many meaningful activities in Hanoi capital; received the Certificate of Merit from the Central Vietnam Youth Union and many other valuable awards.
