In his opening speech, Comrade Tran Hong Thai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee, stated that recently, alongside preserving cultural identity and developing tourism and services, Lam Dong Province has also focused on building and developing high-tech and smart agriculture production; developing and branding agricultural and processed industrial products; gradually meeting the increasing demands of consumers. To date, Lam Dong has 583 certified OCOP products, including 2 five-star OCOP products; 87 four-star products (7 of which are being upgraded to five stars), and 494 three-star products; 22 exclusive trademark certifications, including the trademark “Da Lat – A miraculous crystallization from fertile land” representing four products: vegetables, flowers, Arabica coffee, and agro-tourism – which have been recognized for their standards and quality, gradually gaining trust from domestic and international consumers.
Lam Dong Province, with its temperate climate, poetic natural landscapes, diverse culture, fertile land, and the skillful, diligent hands of its people, has bestowed upon us renowned products. From fresh agricultural products such as vegetables, flowers, and fruits to uniquely processed products like tea, coffee, wine, and jams, all carry the distinctive flavors of this picturesque highland region.
Among them, Da Lat City – the heart of Lam Dong Province – with its unique culture and people combined with beautiful climate and landscapes, has long been recognized as a famous tourism brand and continues to assert itself as a high-quality tourism center, a “Safe, Civilized, Friendly” destination; “Vietnam’s Flower Festival City”; “UNESCO Creative City of Music”; and “ASEAN Clean Tourism City.” Lam Dong also has strengths in the production, processing, and trade of agricultural products, with a total cultivated area estimated at over 367,000 hectares, including over 68,000 hectares of high-tech agricultural production with diverse products to meet domestic and international consumer demands in general and the demand of Hanoi in particular, Comrade Tran Hong Thai added.

Furthermore, Lam Dong Province has always identified Hanoi as a large, traditional, key, and priority market to guide production, business, and service activities. Therefore, the “Cultural, Tourism, Architectural Heritage, OCOP, and Agricultural Products Exhibition Space” within the framework of the “Lam Dong Culture Day in Hanoi 2025” program is not only an occasion to introduce and promote products but also an opportunity for enterprises, organizations, and individuals domestically and internationally, especially in Hanoi, to learn, connect, and expand investment opportunities in the potential-rich land of Lam Dong.
Typical and outstanding products of Lam Dong are showcased, reaching consumers in Hanoi and the northern provinces, demonstrating the province’s continuous efforts in developing agricultural economy, improving product quality, and building a sustainable, modern agriculture to serve consumers.
Within the program framework, on the morning of May 17, in Hanoi, the Lam Dong 2025 “Culture – Tourism – Trade” Connection Forum was organized, with the expectation that Hanoi and Lam Dong will continue to strengthen cooperation in regional linkages for green tourism, high-tech agriculture, trade and services, and digital transformation in the future. This will serve as a bridge for managers, experts, and enterprises to share solutions, experiences, and collectively aim for sustainable and comprehensive development strategies.
