Japanese cultural exchange and Cherry Blossom Exhibition in Ha Noi, 2017

With the aim of enhancing exchange of experiences in the field of cultural, tourism and economic cooperation between the Capital of Ha Noi and Japan; further promoting the understanding, trust and linkage between the peoples of the two countries, most recently, Deputy Chairman of Ha Noi People’s Committee Ngo Van Quy has signed and issued..

With the aim of enhancing exchange of experiences in the field of cultural, tourism and economic cooperation between the Capital of Ha Noi and Japan; further promoting the understanding, trust and linkage between the peoples of the two countries, most recently, Deputy Chairman of Ha Noi People’s Committee Ngo Van Quy has signed and issued the Plan No. 15/KH-UBND on the holding activities of the Japanese cultural exchange and Cherry Blossom Exhibition in Ha Noi, 2017.

According to the plan, the opening ceremony of the Japanese cultural exchange and Cherry Blossom Exhibition will be taking palce at 20.00hrs, starting from 10 to 13 March, 2017 at the Monument Park of Ly Thai To. Coupled with that, there will be exchange activities with Japan like exhibiting of cherry trees and blossoms (about 20 trees and 10,000 blossom branches), a number of typical flowers of Viet Nam and Ha Noi at the public garden of Ly Thai To monument; discussion meeting on the promotion of investment and tourism between Ha Noi and Japan at Melia Ha Noi Hotel (or Nikko Hotel); exchange of traditional cultural and music performances of Japan and Ha Noi and some other supplementary activities such as photo exhibition, martial arts show and Japanese traditional tea ceremony).

 The Department of Culture and Sports of Ha Noi has been assigned as the standing body, responsible for co-ordinating with the relevant agencies, branches, People’s Committees at the district level, other units and International Cultural Association of  Wanokai and AIC company to implement the plan.
