The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism noted: Need to carefully evaluate the current status of the wall of the work to have an appropriate renovation and conservation plan. At the same time, the Project record should be supplemented with the current state drawings and embellishment: foundations; roof tiles, decorating on the roof; plan on connecting, patching and replacing bearing core for wooden components; plans to prevent and against termite.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will give opinions to the Hanoi People’s Committee to direct the functional agencies to guide the investor to supplement and complete the record, then publicize the Project’s content to get the people’s consent on Content of repairing and embellishing relics before deploying the next steps according to current regulations.
Dong Phu Communal House in Dong My commune, Thanh Tri district, Hanoi is a national historical and cultural relic, ranked by the state in 1990. According to legend, the communal house of worshiping tutelary god was General Nguyen Sieu. Dong Phu Communal House is a unique architectural work, through many renovations, most recently in 2008, it became a place of religious and cultural activities of the local people. The communal house consists of a cult building with three compartments and two lean-tos, the middle compartment connecting with a harem. Inside is wood carvings with many delicate patterns. Previously, it still preserved ancient relics such as turtles wearing stele, studying pens, chessboard, etc. Dong Phu Communal House currently holds 22 ordinations from King Le Than Tong to King Khai Dinh.
