The mobile propaganda program celebrating the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People’s Army (December 22, 1944 – December 22, 2023) was held at 4 outdoor stage locations: People’s Committee of Dong Xuan commune, Quoc Oai district (evening of December 16); Doc Tin Secondary School, Doc Tin commune, My Duc district (evening of December 17); Cultural House of Noi Xa village, Van Thai commune, Ung Hoa district (evening of December 18) and Tu Nhien communal house yard, Tu Nhien commune, Thuong Tin district (evening of December 19, 2023).
On the evening of December 16, 2023, at the outdoor stage of the People’s Committee of Dong Xuan commune, Quoc Oai district, Hanoi Exhibition Information Center organized a mobile propaganda program to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People’s Army. (December 22, 1944 – December 22, 2023).
This is an activity to widely propagate to a large number of people about the nation’s historical and revolutionary traditions and the meaning of the Founding Day of the Vietnam People’s Army and the importance of all-people national defense; educate political ideology, arouse revolutionary heroism, the spirit of great solidarity, pride and will for self-reliance and national self-strength; contributing to consolidating and fostering people’s trust in the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, propagate the nation’s tradition of fighting the enemy to defend the country, educate patriotism and love of Socialism, and encourage all citizens to take care of strengthening national defense, building the army, and protecting the Fatherland, thereby, encouraging people from all walks of life in the Capital, promoting patriotic emulation, actively working, production and studying movements, contributing to building an increasingly rich, beautiful, civilized and modern Hanoi.

The program captivated the audience with 14 elaborately choreographed music and dance performances and 1 skit. The audience enjoyed songs praising the Communist Party of Vietnam, beloved Uncle Ho, praising the Vietnam People’s Army, Uncle Ho’s soldiers, the country’s innovations and the Capital: Songs “Praise the Fatherland” (Composer: Ho Bac), “The Flag Color I Love” (Composer: Pham Tuyen), “Truong Son Stick” (Composer: Pham Tuyen), “Heart of a Soldier” (Composer: Tran Viet Duoc), “Song of Hanoi” (Composer: Vu Thanh) … In particular, the skit “The soldier’s green shirt” highlighted the spirit of fighting against foreign invaders, the sacrifice of soldiers and previous generations of ancestors; glorious tradition of the Vietnam People’s Army. Those golden pages of history have permeated the thoughts and feelings and grown over the years of the younger generation, urging them to follow in their father’s footsteps and write military marches. Propaganda sections by two propagandists are interspersed between the sections.

The program attracted a large number of local people and people from surrounding areas to watch and cheer. This is a practical activity and useful spiritual food to meet the entertainment needs of the People, contributing to improving the cultural and spiritual life of the Capital’s People.
