The Muong Ethnic Culture Festival is a meaningful event that honors, preserves, and promotes the fine traditional cultural values of Muong ethnic groups within the unified and diverse culture of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic communities. It demonstrates the deep concern of the Party and the State for ethnic minority communities, while fostering solidarity and the sustainable development of the country’s diverse cultural heritage.
This is also an opportunity for localities to exchange, learn, and share experiences, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility in preserving ethnic cultural identities and in building and defending the Fatherland. The festival further serves to promote and introduce to businesses and domestic and international friends the potential and strengths of Muong ethnic culture, sports tourism, and cultural heritage in the context of renewal, integration, and development.
