Mr. Pham Xuan Tai, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports and Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, attended and gave the opening remarks.

Nearly 100 athletes from various clubs representing 17 provinces, cities, and sectors competed in six categories, including: Young Men’s Bodybuilding, Men’s Bodybuilding, Men’s Classic Bodybuilding, Women’s Classic Bodybuilding, Men’s Physique, and Women’s Physique.
The Organizing Committee presented commemorative flags to the athletes participating in the competition.
In his opening remarks, Deputy Director Pham Xuan Tai noted that compared to other sports, bodybuilding is still relatively underdeveloped, with few competitions held. Thus, the 2024 Hanoi Open Bodybuilding – Fitness Championship provides an opportunity for athletes to compete, improve their skills, and gain experience. Through this event, Hanoi aims to identify top-performing athletes for training in preparation for the upcoming national championship.
“Following this year’s success, Hanoi will establish this as an annual competition to create opportunities for athletes to compete, improve their skills, and promote the bodybuilding sport,” confirmed the Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports.
Following the opening ceremony, athletes competed in various categories.
Athletes competed in the Women’s Classic Bodybuilding category.
Athletes competed in the Young Men’s Bodybuilding category.
Later that afternoon, the Organizing Committee held the closing ceremony and awarded medals to the outstanding athletes.
