On the afternoon of November 21, at the Vincom Centre for Contemporary Art (VCCA) in Hanoi, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism – Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition, opened “Young Art Festival 2017”.
Mr. Vuong Duy Bien – Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, delivered the opening speech of Young Art Festival
“Young Art Festival” is a cultural and artistic event held every three years to introduce new compositions, new faces of young artists aged from 18 to 35 years.
The Organizing Committee of the “Young Art Festival 2017” received 379 works made by 185 authors from 63 provinces and cities. The Arts Council of the Festival selected 95 works of 81 authors for display, of which 18 outstanding works were awarded: 4 second prizes, 6 third prizes and 8 consolation prizes.

Exhibited works rich in ideas, present their diversity in creativity and form of expression, bear the breath of contemporary life with the issues that concern young people, such as environment, employment, spiritual life, culture in the era, etc.
