What began as a single district club has now expanded to 21 communes and towns, each establishing its own Wellness Club for Middle-Aged and Elderly members. The clubs have attracted nearly 4,000 participants who train in the morning, afternoon, or evening, with goals of health cultivation, physical strength enhancement, maintaining flexibility, reducing illness, and extending life expectancy – ultimately living joyfully, healthily, and meaningfully. Notable communes and towns with robust middle-aged and elderly sports programs include Kim Bai Town, Cu Khe, Hong Duong, Kim Thu, Bich Hoa, My Hung, Tam Hung, Phuong Trung, and Cao Duong. Among these, Hong Duong commune boasts the highest number of members, while Cu Khe commune stands out for its consistently participating seniors and impressive daily attire.

A highlight came in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Capital’s Liberation, when the Outdoor Health Club trained and competed in four sports events at the district level, performed at local venues, and participated in a mass demonstration at Thong Nhat Park with two routines – “Strong for the Nation” and “Oh Vietnam”. The club collaborated with the Elderly Association and the Culture, Information, and Sports Center to organize a Physical Wellness Competition, with 18 communes and towns competing in four different disciplines. Over the past 15 years, generations of club officials and members have united to achieve a proud record of 39 medal sets.
