Delegates and People attending the conference

This initiative is part of the implementation of Plan No. 2298/KH-UBND, dated October 1, 2024, by the People’s Committee of Phuc Tho District, aiming to establish a model “Sustainable Family Development Club” in the district in 2024. The plan includes the creation and launch of the model club at Vong Noi village, Vong Xuyen commune.

Performance at the conference

Following the launch by the People’s Committee of Vong Xuyen commune, the task was delegated to the local party branch of Vong Noi village to carry out the plan. The party branch organized meetings with the heads of local organizations to implement the plan and assign specific tasks. The party committee and local organizations worked diligently to raise awareness among officials, party members, union members, and influential families in the village to encourage participation. Vong Noi village has 464 households with 1,753 residents. As of now, the Sustainable Family Development Club in Vong Noi has 25 participating families. Membership is open to all ages, genders, and occupations, with men, such as husbands and fathers, also participating. The club has elected an executive committee, including the Head of the Front Work Committee of the village as Club President, along with two Vice Presidents and two members. The club has begun its activities.

The formation of the “Sustainable Family Development Club” aims to foster unity among members, promote participation in family violence prevention, support health care, and encourage mutual development. It also seeks to raise awareness about family law, the law on domestic violence prevention, gender equality laws, and more. Ultimately, the club’s goal is to contribute to the preservation of national cultural traditions, the development of new rural areas, and the establishment of prosperous, equal, progressive, and happy families.
