Recently, the National Organizing Committee has issued the Plan No. 895/KH-BTCQG to implement the activities in celebration of the 70th Anniversary of Injured and fallen soldiers’ Day (27/7/1947 – 27/7/2017).
Under the Plan, the national 70th Anniversary of Injured and fallen soldiers’ Day will be held in Ha Noi at 9.30hrs, on 27 July 2017, at the National Convention Centre, No. 57, Pham Hung, Me Tri ward, South Tu Liem district, Ha Noi.
The Conference on commendment of 700 delegates selected as revolutionarily credited people will be held At 8.00hrs on 26 July 2017, at the Ha Noi Palace of Culture and Friendship, No. 91, Tran Hung Dao, Hoan Kiem, Ha Noi.
The Thanking Ceremony in favour of injured, sick and fallen soldiers, and revolutionarily credited people will be live televised on VTV1 channel at 20.00hrs on 27 July 2017 at 5 points in Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh, Quang Tri, Dien Bien and Thai Nguyen.
At 20.00hrs on 26 July 2017, at the martyrs’ cemeteries in the whole country, thurifying and candle-lighting ceremonies will be held in memorizing the martyrs; and grateful activities in favour of the Vietnamese fallen soldiers and volunteer troops in Laos and Cambodia will also be conducted in mid July 2017.

Based on the National Action Plan and specific conditions in each locality, the Provincial/Municipal People’ s Committees have the responsibility to proactively organize celebrations, focusing on the basic activities, as follows:
To hold meetings; pay visits and tributes; and commend injured, sick soldiers and families having fallen soldiers, and revolutionary credited people;
Paying a visit to Vietnamese heroic mother
To implement the prioritized policies in favour of revolutionary credited people;
To carry out concrete plans and methods to help the families with revolutionary credits get out of sustainable poverty and have higher living conditions compared to the average level of the residing community.
