The Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, Do Dinh Hong received the Representative of the Île-de-France Region in Hanoi, the Director of the Paris Region International Cooperation Support Agency in Vietnam (PRX-Vietnam), Emmanuel Cerise.
After the signing of the cooperation document between Hanoi and the Île-de-France region (IDF) for the period 2018-2021, following the direction of the City People’s Committee, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports directed the Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities of the Temple of Literature actively cooperates with experts from the Representative Office of the Île-de-France region in Hanoi to organize the implementation of a number of items associated with the planning, management and exploitation of tourism at the Temple of Literature relic.
The project focuses on technical support for the Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities of the Temple of Literature to perform a number of important core items in service of promoting the value of the Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam heritage. The above support content has been basically implemented, specifically: Planning a system of sightseeing signboards; display design about celebrity Chu Van An and Quoc Tu Giam; organizing a composing contest about celebrity Chu Van An; the Temple of Literature sketching contest; contest to design typical souvenir products of the Temple of Literature relic.
The two parties discussed activities to promote cultural cooperation projects in the coming time.
Also within the framework of the above technical assistance project, the two parties focused on implementing the project component connecting the Temple of Literature relic with heritage tourist sites in the IDF region.
At the exchange, the Director of the Department of Culture and Sports, Mr. Do Dinh Hong hoped that the two parties would continue to maintain and promote cultural cooperation projects in the next period.
