The program aims to introduce Hanoi’s distinctive night tourism products to domestic and international visitors, while continuing to position the capital as a destination that is Safe – Friendly – High-quality – Attractive in a new development phase.
A key objective is to develop a night tourism space in Cua Nam Ward, an area rich in cultural, historical, and revolutionary values. Creating signature tourism products here is expected to form a new destination, stimulate the local economy and tourism, and improve community livelihoods. The program also seeks to enhance the competitiveness of Hanoi’s night tourism, attract more visitors, encourage spending, and extend the length of stay.
Inspired by the lyric “Ha Noi dep sao!” from the song Nguoi Ha Noi by composer Nguyen Dinh Thi, the theme “Ha Noi Dep Sound” portrays the city’s beauty through the distinctive sounds of urban life at night. It emphasizes that Hanoi’s appeal lies not only in its scenery and people, but also in music, emotion, and art that shape the capital’s unique identity.
Through a series of creative activities, the program aims to spread Hanoi’s cultural values, foster civic pride, and promote the city as a safe, friendly, and appealing night tourism destination.
The opening ceremony will be held at 7:30 p.m. on December 19 at Hanoi Book Street 19/12, featuring: a promotional video for Hanoi night tourism products; the launch of the Hanoi Culinary Tourism Map; the announcement of the “Ha Noi Dep Sound” night cycling tour; and choral and music performances using diverse instruments.

Over the three-day program, visitors can enjoy a range of night tourism activities. The “Ha Noi Dep Sound” night cycling tour, using the TNGo public bike application, invites participants to explore Hanoi through themed routes such as art tours, heritage tours, and “love-the-street” tours, offering an intimate and engaging way to experience the city at night.
The Hanoi Culinary Tourism Map experience, implemented by the ShopeeFood online food-ordering platform, includes interactive activities such as booth check-ins and social media sharing to receive gifts, along with mini-games offering discount vouchers for food orders at the culinary area.
The program also features the Dinh Ty Book Fair, with reading and creative activities, including book displays, the workshop “A Magical Christmas with Dinh Ty Books,” and “Welcome the New Year – Create Something New by Hand.”
Additional highlights include creative and interactive spaces with art performances; visual–audio art installations themed around Christmas and Hanoi; food trucks and souvenir stalls; musical interaction at the “Ha Noi Dep Sound Studio”; and drawing and CD-decorating workshops at the “Imprint Disc Workshop.”
With its broad scale and diverse content, “Ha Noi Dep Sound” is expected to become a new highlight of Hanoi’s night tourism in 2025, helping spread the message “Hanoi – Come to Love” to visitors at home and abroad.
