The program aims to introduce distinctive and impressive night tourism products of the city to domestic and international visitors, while continuing to build Hanoi’s image as a destination that is “Safe – Friendly – High Quality – Attractive” in a new phase of development.
A key objective of the event is to develop night tourism spaces in Cua Nam Ward, an area rich in cultural, historical, and revolutionary values of the capital. The creation of signature tourism products in this area is expected to establish a new destination, stimulate economic and tourism growth, and improve community livelihoods. At the same time, the program will enhance the competitiveness of Hanoi’s night tourism, attract more visitors, encourage spending, and extend length of stay.
Inspired by the lyric “Ha Noi dep sao!” from the song Nguoi Ha Noi by composer Nguyen Dinh Thi, the theme “Hanoi Dep Sound” recreates the beauty of Hanoi through the characteristic sounds of urban life at night. The program emphasizes that Hanoi’s beauty lies not only in its landscapes and people, but also in its music, emotions, and arts, elements that shape the capital’s unique identity.
Through a series of creative activities, the program seeks to spread Hanoi’s cultural values, inspire love and pride among residents, and promote the city as a safe, friendly, and attractive night tourism destination.
The opening ceremony will take place at 7:30 p.m. on December 19 at Hanoi Book Street (19/12), featuring: screenings of promotional videos for Hanoi night tourism products; the launch of the “Hanoi Culinary Tourism Map”; the announcement of the “Hanoi Dep Sound” night cycling tour; and choral and musical performances using a variety of instruments.

During the three-day program, residents and visitors will enjoy a range of engaging night tourism activities. With the “Hanoi Dep Sound” night cycling tour, participants will use the TNGo public bicycle application to explore Hanoi through themed routes such as art tours, heritage tours, and “love the city” tours. This new product offers a close and engaging way to discover Hanoi at night.
The “Hanoi Culinary Tourism Map” experience, implemented by the ShopeeFood online food delivery application, features interactive activities such as check-ins at themed booths shared on social media to receive gifts, as well as mini-games offering food discount vouchers at culinary stalls.
The program also includes the Dinh Ty Book Fair, with reading and creative experience activities such as book displays and introductions; the workshop “Magical Christmas with Dinh Ty Books”; and the workshop “Welcoming the New Year – Creating Something New by Hand,” featuring handicraft activities.
In addition, the event features creative and interactive spaces with art performances; artistic decoration spaces combining visual and audio elements themed around Christmas and Hanoi; food carts, gift and souvenir areas; musical instrument interactions at the “Hanoi Dep Sound Studio”; and CD painting and decoration workshops at the “Imprint Disc Workshop.”
With its broad scale and rich content, the “Hanoi Dep Sound” series of activities is expected to create a new highlight for the capital’s night tourism in 2025, helping to spread the message “Hanoi – Come to Love” to a wide audience of domestic and international visitors.
