Accordingly, seven sites have been ranked as City-level heritage sites, including: (1) Truong Do Family Church, Tao Duong Van Commune, Ung Hoa District (Historical and Cultural Site); (2) Ky Vien Pagoda (Ky Vien Tu), Duc Giang Commune, Hoai Duc District (Historical and Artistic Site); (3) Tren Communal House – Yen Son Pagoda, Dong Lac Commune, Chuong My District (Historical and Cultural Site); (4) Cong Ha Communal House; (5) Thanh Loi Communal House, Hong Son Commune; (6) Bach Tuyet Communal House, Hung Tien Commune, My Duc District (Historical and Cultural Sites); (7) Ha Hiep Pavilion, Lien Hiep Commune, Phuc Tho District (Historical and Artistic Site.

The Hanoi People’s Committee has assigned the district-level People’s Committees of Ung Hoa, Hoai Duc, Chuong My, My Duc, and Phuc Tho the responsibility of publicly announcing the demarcated protected areas of these heritage sites. They are also tasked with preparing documentation for boundary marking and implementing boundary markers at the actual locations as per their authority and in accordance with current legal regulations.

The commune-level People’s Committees with ranked heritage sites are instructed to issue decisions to establish heritage site management boards. These boards will manage the premises, spaces, artifacts, and activities related to protecting and promoting the value of these sites. They will also oversee the use of revenue generated by these sites, as stipulated in Decision No. 48/2016/QD-UBND (dated November 17, 2016) and Decision No. 31/2021/QD-UBND (dated December 29, 2021), which outline the regulations for managing, protecting, and promoting historical, cultural, and scenic heritage sites in Hanoi.

All activities related to construction and exploitation within the protected areas of ranked heritage sites are strictly prohibited. In exceptional cases where land use or construction within these areas is necessary, prior approval from the Hanoi People’s Committee is required.

The Department of Culture and Sports, along with the People’s Committees of the districts of Ung Hoa, Hoai Duc, Chuong My, My Duc, Phuc Tho, and the communes where the ranked heritage sites are located, are tasked with fulfilling their respective responsibilities in managing these heritage sites in accordance with their authority and the legal provisions on cultural heritage.
