On March 18, 2025, the People’s Committee of Hanoi City issued Decision No. 1567/QD-UBND on the recognition of Thiet Ung Woodcraft Village Tourist Site, Van Ha Commune, Dong Anh District, Hanoi City.
Accordingly, the People’s Committee of Van Ha Commune is responsible for organizing management, operation, and development of the tourist site in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Tourism and relevant legal documents.
Departments and agencies including Tourism, Culture and Sports, Agriculture and Environment, Construction, Science and Technology, Health, Finance, City Police, the People’s Committee of Dong Anh District, and the People’s Committee of Van Ha Commune are responsible for guiding, organizing management, operation, and investment in the construction of the Thiet Ung Woodcraft Village Tourist Site in accordance with the law and city regulations, ensuring sustainable and effective development.
Van Ha is a famous woodworking craft village. About 60% of households in Van Ha Commune engage in wood production, business, and carving. Van Ha wood products are diverse, ranging from worship items, tables, cabinets to paintings, statues, and reliefs, and are favored by customers both domestically and internationally. Van Ha currently has 31 woodcraft products recognized as OCOP 3–4 star products.
