Taking place from 6 to 11 January 2020, the final examination of the City-level Festival is participated by 27 of 30 units of districts and towns with staged and on-a-large-scale performances responded by numerous generations and classes of the Capital’s people.
With the theme of “Party – Spring – Nation”, the units brought to the Festival and the audience the performances of praising our Fatherland, the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam, the great President Ho Chi Minh; praising the heroic fighting tradition of our nation and our army; praising the love of nature, homeland, country, people and beloved Hanoi Capital with great achievements in the integration and development, etc.

In terms of a general assessment of the quality and content of the performances participating in the festival, the representative of the organizers, choreographer Mr. Nguyen Van Bich – Chairman of Hanoi Dance Association said that the festival had a close connection with the choreographers and musicians, so many districts have found professional choreographers and songwriters to set up the repertoires for the festival. From the program arrangement, the topic building highlighted the content of praising the Party, the beloved Uncle Ho, praising the innovative country, etc., many districts have mobilized a large mass of gifted people to participate, creating spectacular and unique performances. The vast majority of the performances showed the content of the Festival through images, artistic images, through the language of music and singing, etc. However, there are still some performances that have not been performed as required by the festival such as choosing inappropriate music, costumes that are not uniform, and the quality of music is not high.

Music and Dance Festival of “Party – Spring – Nation” is one of the annual cultural and artistic activities organized by the Hanoi Cultural Center to communicate and educate the masses on the journey of defending the Fatherland and building our country under the leadership of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh.
