One work is on display at the exhibition.
It has become a routine for the past 7 years, every year-end, the G39 group of artists together hold an exhibition to see off the old year to celebrate the new year.
In the year of the Ox, Golden Ox 2021, the G39 group of artists together exhibited at 29 Hang Bai with more than 80 works on oil paints, acrylic, color powder, do paper, Bat Trang pottery, cotton shirt embroidered with buffalo motifs… with colorful, fresh, and vivid color palettes to celebrate the New Year.
According to artist Le Thiet Cuong, Vietnamese civilization, Vietnam country is a wet rice civilization. Buffalo is like a pillar of a house of Vietnamese culture and civilization. The image of Buffalo, closely associated with diligence, hard work and health, is a good suggestion for artists to put into their works. The breed is more interested in perhaps because of its special nature. That is also a beautiful, sexy excuse, inspiring the mood of the year, the old year’s gone and the Tet holiday comes, see off the old and welcome the new. It is also a custom of artists that is not sure that other art disciplines have easily acquired.
In particular, this year seeing off the Year of the Metal Rat to welcome the Year of Ox also welcomes a number of child painters who are children of the group’s artists. The children brought funny pictures of Buffalo and still-life.
In addition to pottery, paintings, the exhibition also exhibits some buffalo-embroidered cotton ceilings by designer Trinh Bich Thuy. Highly applicable works from paintings (paintings of Le Thiet Cuong) to real life.
The artists attending the exhibition include: Vuong Linh, Binh Nhi, Bui Thanh Thuy, Nguyen Hong Phuong, Hoang Phuong Lien, Nguyen Minh (street), Quoc Thang, Pham Tran Quan, Lam Duc Manh, Doan Hoang Lam, Tao Linh, Le Thiet Cuong, Do Dung, Designer Trinh Bich Thuy. The child artists: Nguyen Minh Duc, Nguyen Tuong Linh, Nguyen Vuong Bao Han, Nguyen Vuong Bao Tran, Le Tram Anh, Le Vinh An, Nguyen Huy An, Nguyen Khanh Uyen.
The exhibition will open at 17:00 on January 23, 2021, at the 29 Hang Bai Exhibition House, Hanoi and will take place until January 29, 2021.
