On the afternoon of 22 april 2017, the Centre of Culture, Information and Sports of Thach That district held the final football match and closed the soccer tournament within the 8th Physical and Sports Congress in 2017.
A large number of audiences waved their support for both teams at the final
Within the framework of the 8th Physical sports Congress in 2017 of Thach That district, the soccer tournament had been able to draw the participation of 380 athletes from 19 football teams comprising of communes, towns and organizations, entrepreneurs located on the district. After 40 days of scrambling (from 12 March to 22 April, 2017), with the spirit of “Sports – Unity – High Mindedness”, players had enthusiastically competed each other through 31 exciting matches devoted to the audiences. Through the qualifying rounds, the youth football team of Phung Xa commune had been successful to get to the final. After official 90 mins, no goal was scored, so the two team had to come to the penalty shoots. Ending the match, the youth football team of Phung Xa commune had won the score of 4 to 3.
Presenting championship cub to Phung Xa football team
Right after the final match closed, the Organizing Committee had presented the championship cub to the football team of Phung Xa, the runner-up prize to the team of Huu Bang commune, the well-mannered prize to the one of Dong Truc commune, the title of the best tournament player to Phan Lac Quyen from the foot ball team of Huu Bang commune and the title of the best tournament goal keeper to Tran Van Manh, belonging to the football team of Phung Xa commune. Earlier the Organizing Committee also gave 02 third prizes to the football teams of Dong Truc and Yen Binh communs respectively.
With the tournament organized, it had helped make a considerable contribution to stepping up the movement of “Entire people do physical exercises after the great uncle Ho”, improving the youth’s health conditions and encouraging the youth football campaign to develop in the district’s area.
