More than 300 student-athletes from primary, secondary, and high schools in Son Tay Town took part in the 2024-2025 School Year Student Athletics Competition.
The event, held over two days from November 5 to 7, 2024, at the town’s stadium, was jointly organized by the Son Tay Cultural, Information, and Sports Center and the Son Tay Department of Education and Training.
The competition featured various events, including Boys’ and girls’ sprints in distances of 60m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and 1,500m; Relay races; Long jump; and High jump.
After the competition, organizers awarded first-, second-, and third-place prizes for each event.
This annual event aims to promote the development of sports and enhance the quality of physical education across schools in Son Tay Town.
