The final round of the 50th Hanoimoi Newspaper Run – For Peace 2025 in Ung Hoa District saw the participation of representatives from the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports; Hanoimoi Newspaper; Comrade Nguyen Chi Vien – Permanent Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People’s Council; Comrade Ngo Tien Hoang – Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the District People’s Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee; Comrade Nguyen Van Dinh – Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the District People’s Committee; Comrade Do Nang Binh – Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the District Party Committee’s Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Board… together with nearly 500 athletes from communes, townships, schools, armed forces units and local residents.

In his opening remarks, Comrade Ngo Tien Hoang – Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the District People’s Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee – emphasized: Embracing President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology “A strong people make a prosperous nation,” in recent years, the public sports movement in Ung Hoa District has developed widely and deeply, attracting the participation of people from all walks of life. The rate of regular sports participants has reached nearly 40% of the population. Many community and amateur tournaments have been organized in various forms, meeting the exercise and sports needs of local residents. The number of clubs for badminton, volleyball, folk dance, aerobics, and health exercises continues to increase.

The final round of the 50th Hanoimoi Newspaper Run – For Peace 2025 in Ung Hoa District recorded high professional quality, with many athletes making remarkable breakthroughs on the track. As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 35 collective and individual prizes in the district-level race categories. In the commune and township group (armed forces, residents, etc.), the women’s first prize went to athlete Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diem (Phuong Tu Commune), and the men’s first prize went to athlete Do Tien Dung (Truong Thinh Commune).
