On the afternoon of November 21, in Hanoi, Mr. Do Dinh Hong, a member of the Hanoi Party Committee and Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, met with the Belarusian Ambassador’s Attaché to strengthen cooperation between the two cities in the final months of 2024 and throughout 2025.

Overview of the Cooperation Exchange
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the construction of a bust of Belarusian poet Yanka Kupala in Hanoi in 2025, the renaming of streets and squares after prominent figures from both Belarus and Vietnam in Hanoi and Minsk, and the organization of a Minsk Motor Roadshow in Hanoi in 2024. On this occasion, the Belarusian Embassy invited Mr. Do Dinh Hong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, to attend the “Belarus Night in Hanoi” performance at 8:00 PM on December 11, 2024, at the Ho Guom Theatre.
To further enhance cultural cooperation between the two cities, Hanoi and Minsk have agreed to continue strengthening exchanges, organize Minsk Culture Days in Hanoi and Hanoi Culture Days in Minsk, hold cultural exchanges and performances, and consider naming universities in both countries after famous historical figures from Belarus and Vietnam, etc.
