Through documents, photographs, infographics, and modern technology, the exhibition vividly reconstructs the journey of the Temple of Literature, from the early challenging days when the site faced serious deterioration to the significant transformations achieved in recent years. Along this path, the dedicated efforts of multiple generations of leaders at all levels, scholars, domestic and international organizations and individuals, as well as the staff working at the site over the years, have collectively contributed to preserving, conserving, and promoting the values of this historic relic.

The exhibition vividly retraces nearly four decades of preserving and promoting the values of the Temple of Literature, a special national relic.

It also serves as a tribute to the generations who have actively protected the heritage, while clearly signaling the Center’s vision to transform the Temple of Literature into a creative cultural space for Hanoi.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Le Xuan Kieu, Director of the Center for Culture and Heritage of the Temple of Literature, stated: “We hope this exhibition is not only an opportunity to look back on the journey so far but also to convey a message about the dialogue between tradition and modernity at the Temple of Literature, balancing the preservation and promotion of heritage values in the context of rapid technological development.”
